Manage email in the handset
There are several different ways to get email in your handset. The easiest way is to utilize the built-in email client that is available in most handsets today.
Just like with SMS there is a ”section” for email in which you can control all your messages as well as write new ones.
You will notice when you write a new email message in the handset that it is not the same behaviour as with your normal SMS-behaviour. Write as much as you like as it will still only be one message and not split up into several text messages. You can also without problem attach images and documents before sending.

PUSH - Mobile email instantly
The PUSH function means that the message is delivered to your handset automatically when you have gotten it into your email inbox.
Just like when you get an sms you will get a beep in the handset so that you do not have to check the ”inbox” manually.
What is needed by me/the handset?
Your handset must be able to handle the so called PUSH-protocol.

Scegliere Altro (POP3/IMAP) nell’elenco a discesa

Immettere l’indirizzo e-mail (tuonumero@)

Inserire il proprio nome e indirizzo e-mail (tuonumero@) come nome utente, quindi digitare la password
Scegliere il tipo di account, POP3 o IMAP, in base alle proprie esigenze. Immettere Momail come nome account
Immettere imap. o pop. in Posta in arrivo
Immettere smtp. in Posta in uscita. Non inserire informazioni in Dominio
Scegliere se impostare l’intervallo di tempo allo scadere del quale il dispositivo verificherà la presenza di nuove e-mail. Se non si dispone di un contratto preferenziale con il proprio operatore, questo potrebbe comportare costi aggiuntivi.
Fare clic su Avanti
Assicurarsi che l’opzione Richiedi connessione SSL non sia contrassegnata. La posta in uscita richiede l’autenticazione, pertanto deve essere contrassegnata.
Fare clic su Avanti, quindi su Fine

You can also send a message to as many as you like. It does not cost more to send to several in one sending regardless of how many recipients there are.
Mobile email have more possibilites than MMS.
Email is the link between computer and handset. (You won’t get MMS into the computer!)
Mobile email vs. webmail
A computer is always quicker than a handset and where you often base the payment on speed, in a handset it is usually based from the amount of used data traffic.
Mobile email cannot always show the same things as when you surf in a computer. Therefore it is not as important that you load things that you anyway can’t show in the handset and gives you lower speed even if you have a good data plan.
Momail was created with this in mind.

All email addresses in the handset
Super-inbox - Keep track on all your email accounts.
With Momail you can reach all your existing email accounts (Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo or others) in the handset. Everything in a super-inbox. If you want to, we can simply be your mail man.
All email in one inbox; the sender adress will be different.
Momail keeps track to what address the email message was sent to. You reply with that specific address.
Optimized email for the handset
Momail optimezes all email for the handset with up to 99 procent less data.
Optimization of attachments
Pictures
When you receive a big image in a mail, Momail will then create a smaill copy for the handset. The original is always saved in Momail’s webmail.
Documents and other attachments
Momail takes out the text so that you can read and see the content that your handset cannot handle. (word, pdf, ppt etc.)
Optimization of the message itself
Very often pictures and graphics are sent out in so called ”HTML-mail”. Few handsets can see that type of messages. We clean up these when you which to read it in the handset.
Webmail with a super-inbox
Through Momail you will also get a webmail, where all your accounts are gathered in the same as you gather all your email addresses in the handset.
Attachment handeling of your original documents
Your attachments such as pictures and documents etc, are saved in their original format in the webmail in a specifically adopted attachment handeling.
